Looks as if the body work repairs may have been a little extensive judging by the area of primer....and only 5000 miles for a 96 car!...I would prefer to have seen a much higher milage, as so many faults/niggles can only be sorted/come-to-light, with a lot more use!

also what about those 4.2 clutches ?
change of bellhousing etc when that goes !

Something interesting....put the reg no into my RAC vehicle data search, and it comes back that "this registration cannot be found"....maybe completely innocent....

Odd that the car was "repaired" at owners expense 6mths after purchase in 96/97 and yet it has Spiders on it, 18" that werent around until 2000 if Im correct?

Also, what is an "unreliable" paint shop. There are thousands of them, surely not a reason to get rid of a car very cheaply. I would say more likely a lot of things are knackered and that the owners at their "expense" found this out and decided it was not worth their while repairing.

Your just all jealous, cos he ragged it round a track for 600miles, and it looks like its only cost him £300 for the fun :-)

I quite like the way that a TVR engineer had checked out the engine and it sounds really good, but driving it away will cause major problems...

ebay search thingy found it. First reg 3/7/96. Sure there must be a story here but I aint brave enough to find out what it is

the fact it was bought just a few weeks ago & the guy is selling on so soon raises my brow. Could all be perfectly understandable; dont have all the facts of course.
