It passed !!!!!

Cerb went in for MOT on Saturday & passed easily, with the exception of emisions, which it JUST scraped through on.... (amazingly, hand brake passed with flying colours !)

So, I guess now is a good time to replace the CATS while they still pass....

Any suggestions on where to get a set of de-cat pipes ? (she's a late 1997 4.2)

Took mine for MOT on Saturday, but failed on emissions! Everything else passed no problem.

I have the old original exhaust which is currently very poorly...still waiting for new sports pipes ordered 5 weeks ago, I was told they'll only be two weeks!!!!!!

I know the cats are good and had car tuned by APM so hoping once sports pipes are fitted all will be OK!

We'll soon see!!

sport pipes are unlikely to improve your emissions.

I would suggest a different MOT station as despite leaving PH'ers with the challenge last year I have yet to meet a Cerbera that could pass a simple road side emissions test with my gunson, let alone a proper one.

UMM i did ask a while ago if there was sutch a thing as a cerby that could pass legal emissions,guess not?
but what sort of figures are to be expected of them?
I had the cats red hot and the heat sheeld smoking,tried boath pipes, they were a plane ride away,so i stuck it up my megane, BINGO i had all the right numbers

The only benefit I can see of sports pipes for emissions is if you have 1 dead cat..... Means you can put the probe up the side that is working ok.
