Fuel pipe from tank

Is it possible to change the short piece of fuel pipe from the fuel tank to the fuel pump with out taking the tank out?

I haven't tried it yet, but I asked a few weeks back and it should be possible:

Thanks for the link. I got the silicone out but found that there are a bunch of wires going through the hole also. I managed to cut through a grey wire. Bugger.

I've had the tank out to do the same job. Yes possible with it still in but I'd be changing the fuel return hose at the same time which is a tank out job.

I ended up taking the tank out so I could fix the wires. Lesson learnt.
