Ex-David Beckham Cerbera for sale
Discussion
Nothing to do with me, but I’m just a bit intrigued that having such a famous celebrity first owner could demand such a premium.
It does look a nice example though.

Wondering how true this was - but the daily fail never ceases to amaze -

At least it's been used, 17k miles at MoT in September 2020, but no others recorded.
Used and kept abroad maybe? No valid VED since November 2003 would suggest so, or very long private roads ....... Last issue of a V5c was in July 2001 so seems true it is the same owner for 20 years.

No one is going to buy it at that price. As for the "Beckham effect", Beckham sold it nearly 20 years ago. The present owner tried to sell it 10 years ago, and apparently when the winning bidder came round from whatever he had been smoking as he pressed the bid £70K button, sensibly failed to pay up! Amazing that none of the under-bidders who lost out came forward to take his place either.......
I don't think it has been abroad at all. It was offered for sale 10 years ago via a garage in Catterick, North Yorkshire and the present seller's location is Richmond, North Yorkshire. I think it has been off the road in rural North Yorkshire.
It's described as an appreciating classic! At £60K, actually, it has depreciated from the £70K it reached 10 years ago, and it probably won't ever be worth £60K!
