Went to Joo yesterday and on arrival the interior door release button wouldn’t work. Escaped via mechanical pull but none of the internal or external door and boot release buttons were working. Alarm was chirping 4 times on arming. Removed connector to control box in boot and car sorted itself out. Got home and same thing. Any ideas?

Almost every issue I've had has been dirty pins on the plug inside the door. It's where I'd start. Be careful when you take the inner door panel off, it's much heavier than you think.

Cheers, door card removed and on close inspection the orange wire is broken in the terminal block, hopefully that’s it. Think I’ll get some new connectors and replace them.

From previous posts, it does appear that the disconnect/reconnect on the door module, is the fix.

The broken wire in the door, as far as I’m concerned, will just stop that door’s external button from working. Unless it’s broke off and is touching another wire, that is.

I replaced all the connectors in my passenger door last year.

I had a tentative look in the driver’s door last week, and was surprised to see the mirror control module in there, mounted in a plastic bag biggrin

It appeared to be a factory fit laugh

But same again, every connector needs replacing. And as they didn’t use weatherproof connectors, every stripped wire at the connectors has oxidised.

I once had a situation where the door circuits appeared to be completely dead. Nothing was working and I was in the car. I called Jason (Str8six) and he asked me to check if the passenger door was shut properly. Of course it wasn’t. But once I shut it tight, the door electronics suddenly came alive again.
