I just wondered if this car has previously been mentioned on here.
Last Friday evening there was a knock on the door and a chap asking if he could take a few photo's of my Tuscan.
It was parked on my drive and so visible from the road.

I said no problem and we started to chat.
His wife was sat in their Pickup in front of my house and they turned out be a Polish couple.

He told me has a 1998 Cerbera 4.2 which enabled me to say that I had also previously owned a 1998 4.2 Cerbera.
He went on to say that he bought it last year from the original from new owner and it had 2.7 K miles on the clock.
The owner, by now getting on, had driven those few miles and then put it in his lockup for the next 22 years or so.

Obviously a sizable project but he's done the initial basics to get it back on the road and will continue reviving it in the coming months.

I asked him what,"You lucky bcensoredrd",was in Polish.

Are you implying he got it for a steal?

Mine was a barn-find too - 2001 Cerb that sat for 15 years, after less than two years of use.
Str8six found the car and recommissioned it - was a tremendous undertaking as every last bit of rubber had to be replaced on the car, along with making all the usual upgrades (that weren’t made along the way).
The upside now, is that most of the car is umolested and as it left the factory.
The Polish guy is lucky to find such a car, but doubtless has a lot of work on his hands!

No, not at all.
Very nice couple, very TVR enthused and planning on a Tuscan for his wife.

When he told me it was a barn find my reaction was that he was so lucky, there cant be many of those.
Then you come along with another.
As you say, a lot of work but the end result will be worth the effort.
