One of our family of cerbie drivers and PH member Jason Bennett sadly died yesterday.

There's some threads going on at www.kroozmidz.com if any of you who met him would like to leave a few words.

Jason was heavily involved in the cruise scene and was also a regular at santa pod with his modified 4.5.

Kroozmidz site is a cruise site he helped set up with some friends of his which had grown to become one of the most popular of it's type.

I'm sure if you pop over and read some of the posts there you'll appreciate how well liked he was as a person ..

big hugs to everyone who knew him.

Very Sad - so sorry to hear!!

I only met him once at Santa Pod earlier on in the year ... really nice chap!

It makes you realise you must value life while you can ... life is too short enjoy yourself be careful and make decisions that matter!!

Take it easy out there Jason new his car ... I dont know the facts ... you must respect your TVR!

Sympathies to all affected.

What very sad news.

Didn't know him personally...only knew him on Pistonheads.

Another well liked guy loses his life behind the wheel of a TVR. Take care everyone. These cars can bite back.

My condolences go out to his family and friends.

A great loss.

RIP

I don't know if he was actually driving the TVR when it happened, details seem sketchy but looks at the moment as if there were no passengers in his car.

Spare a kind thought for his kids and his girlfriend Lizzy...

My thoughts go out to his family and friends, it's terrible to lose anyone from your community, be it those around you, or those in your extended community..

Tonight I feel a little cold..

A poem I feel applies to this...

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

I left a while ago and now regret it whole-heartidly, I just heard what happened with JB, feck I'm feckin pissed, JB was a great chap and a pure enthusiast at heart, and I never even got to help him out with his interest in NOS/supercharging.... , !!!!!!!!!!!

JB I know you're in a better place bud, and I hope your departure from this life was swift and painless.

I'll join you one day up there, and I hope you can forgive me for not staying in touch after we exchanged a few emails....

(pic of JB in the car he truly loved with a passion)

Never met Jason, but know of his background and stuff on here, and all the auora he created within the Cerbera community, especially as this has all happened so close to me.

My thoughts are with his family and friends, and I can only imagine the turmoil they are going through at this time.

Jason, live life on the other side, as you lived it on this, and for those this horrible tragedy has left behind, live stong.

A very sad loss indeed. I met him at the Santa Pod cerbie gathering, a very enthusiastic chap who loved his car and drove it the way it was intended.

My heartfelt sympathy to all friends and family.

What a waste.

Met Jay at the rest of the Kroozmids crowd at Fast and Furious. When they let us use the front of their own area to display our cars. We stayed in contact via email, a really nice guy.

He is going to be sadly missed.

My thoughts and best wishes to his family and friends.

Ted,

With the greatest of respect, could you possibly arrange to remove all adverts from this page, and please make it stick?

I feel this page, and it's contents, and most of all Jason deserves all the respect we can give.

Thankyou

Paul

I've only just read this....but it's absolutely devastating.

I met Jason through PH and finally met up at Santa Pod earlier in the year. We have kept in touch via email ever since.

A really great, friendly and enthusiastic guy who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy to all of his family and loved ones.....

Jules.
