On my 96 4.2 Cerb I noticed the green led on the right hand side of the centre console flashes all the time when the alarm is armed, not sure if it has always done that or there is a fault. I think the light indicates the central locking has been activated?
Any ideas?

But all the time, thought it was supposed to stop after a few minutes?

Another odd behaviour from said green LED is sometimes when moving off after a cold start, it does a little coded-flash sequence. Presumably, this seemed like a good idea to someone at some point.

Re. LEDs, one of the amber ones next to the radio (which come on when external lights are on) has died (well before I got the car). Anyone changed these? Is there a part number?

Think I will cut out some small discs of black insulating tape & stick them on all the LED's, problem solved!

Acutally i would like to know this too, mine has one gone to LED heaven. I'm going to replace all with blue, to match the car.

I thought that was the central locking button - some such sequence of flashes to confirm doors properly closed, then you can press it to lock them for town driving, plus they lock automatically over 55mph or something like that just in case....

.... don't shoot me..... just wot I woz told guv'nor....
