Driving home late last night down a dual carriageway and out of the corner of my eye see a football bouncing over the central reservation toward me. Swerve attempt failed and impact took out the off-side headlamp pod. I can't believe what a mess an effin football can make. The pod is split in about 5 places, loads of stress marks, and the lights have fallen back into the cavity behind.

Does anybody know where the best place is to buy these from? and or a decent bodyshop in the Northampton area that could fit/paint it. Don't wanna spend mega-bucks right now cos my plan was to have the whole car re-sprayed in a custom burnt orange pearl during the winter.

Everyones thinking of going orange?????

Ceejay - contact Carbon Al, he could sort you out with seriously strong lightpods, and then just poodle along to a bodyshop to get it mounted and sprayed up, say Greg of Newlund Design? (he's up in that area I think)

Hi Ash,

Welcome back!

I've been planning on going orange for quite a while now, sadly beaten to it by Eddie, but hey, the guy has style.

Mine will be a burnt orange pearl (hopefully) basically changing in sunlight from a deep burnt orange to bright tango orange.

I'll give Al a call to see what he can do on the pods.

Cheers.
