Just about had it!

Those who read this forum, know that I have tended and enhanced my Speed 6 Cerbera over the last 14 months;
Leven bits and pieces,
Clear indicator lenses
Dreadnought trottle bodies
upgraded front discs
Sports zorst
and put up with;
Clutch failure,
failed battery,
failed brake lights
I have tended it, valeted it, and hardly driven it this summer and I was gagging to go LMES Silverstone in two w/e's time.

Now one side indicator has fallen off,
the MIL light is on again and the speedo's on the wonk.
Peninsula are booked up to God knows when.

Can anyone suggest where I could get this fixed pronto, reasonably close to Taunton?
(There is nothing wrong with the engine - I am assuming the MIL is the bloody big fuse)

Help please!

Fix it yourself...

If it is the fuse (does the S6 have one?) it's a five minute job usually. The side indicator, just stick it back in and maybe a couple of dabs of silicon to hold it there.
Speedo can be sorted at a later date if a new fuse doesn't fix that too....

Thanks - The problem is I am no DIY God! Tried to fix the side indicator with said Silicone adhesive and ... dropped the connector inside the wing...DoH!

Will see if I can manage the big fuse without imolating myself and the car.

Just make sure you disconnect the battery before doing the fuse. Leave a door open too so you don't get locked out.

Is there an access panel inside the wheel arch? If there is you can probably reach the connector from there. Failing that, what about one of they long magnet thingys or a bent coathanger.

CWC!! ive done all these things myself recently, and im a complete spanner when it comes to, well, everything really. so dont worry, all can be sorted in a few minutes.

call me and ill talk you through the finer points of doing the necessary repairs to your equally huffy 6.

Nervous - I would have a go, but my rota is crazy this month and Mrs. CwC is buggering off to Ireland next week and leaving me more work!
