Funny what a difference a weekend makes...

Last week I had few debts and owned my dream car which I'd finally got almost exactly how I wanted it.

After organising a GTI show that bombed in a big way, I'm now £50K down and the Cerb has to go.

So if someone wants a bargain, see the classifieds. (Sorry this is a bit gratuitous Ted, but hey cut me some slack...).

If anyone from CREAM (which I'd booked onto <sigh>) wants any 'what not to do' tips, I'm your man.

Ah well, life goes on and I will return to the fold in time...

Yep same here. Event looked good. Shame to hear what happened.

If you fancy letting me know what not to do with these car shows over an email it would be good as I was thinking of doing something similar (not that scale!) next year.

Good luck with the sale. My girlfriend liked your car a lot and got me thinking about another Cerb but buying a house just makes it impossible at the moment.

I've never been keen on the green cerbs, as the one's I've seen have always had the brown interior. But that one looks nice, the interior & wheels make it for me.

On the business front,it's always nice to see someone "having a go" & I wish you well & good luck for what ever you try next.

Thanks chaps... the really annoying thing is that I've only just got all the little bits on it perfect within the last few weeks (finishing off with the four new tyres and wheels).

Ah well, I'll be back in a few years in a 4.5 with race-spec Ohlins...

The spiders were just a photoshop mock up - runs the 4.5 wheels now (also have the original 16-inch Oz wheels shod with a set of slicks if anyone's interested in some track rubber)
