fuse box diagram

Had cause to gaze in puzzlement at the fuse/relay box this evening for first time in two months of Cerbera ownership, as windscreen wipers wouldn't work... [Of course possible that "intermittent" means wiping on alternate days in TVR-land and I've just been lucky enough not to find out till now..] Anyway, fuse layout bears no relation whatsoever to picture in my handbook. Fuses are in L-shaped configuration, not in one line up the side as in picture. Nor, indeed, is there the same number of fuses overall; nor do fuses numbers match - or at least if they do, the car has been supplied with several fuses in wrong places. Hence no way of knowing which fuse governs current to wipers. Having looked at it everway up and round and counted several times, gave up. Twenty minutes later, wipers working again. So, that problem has gone away for the moment - but it or another such bound to happen again. Does anyone have any alternative fuse box layouts to offer, one of which may correspond to my car? It was made in March 2004, so one of the last few, possibly the last, 4.5 Red Roses (or so I was told). As what seems to me an amusing Post Script on TVR generally, I noticed that several of the components have "West Germany" stamped on them - I can't believe any German manufacturers have used that name for, what, 13, 14 years? Even allowing for a big inventory on hand at reunification.. Nice to know where the eighties-manufactured parts all went. All help gratefully received.

Have the same intermittent wipers issue on mine ,and by a process of elimination it has come down to the thermal cut out on the wiper motor , hence the reason for it starting to work after being left for a while.

Thanks, Neil, I'll see how I get on. I notice that you are also former Alfa driver, so we are no strangers to these little trials!

If anyone has an L-shaped fuse layout diagram, though< i'd much appreciate a look!

it could be the ribbon cable inside the steering thats your problem as its intermittent problem. they end up cracking, sounds the same as when mine went.
