Hello again,i share this news wiv the people who extended their hands of knowledge and experience to me and anyone who likes a good results.
I bought my dream car 3 weekends ago a cerbera 4.2 in beautiful prowler purple and i love it more n more everyday.
This instant bliss i was in was severely rocked by the apperance of wat looked to be a leaking crank seal, pound signs where dancing round my head.SH*t
I got in there and cleaned it all up,topped up the oil n said a little prayer....
80 miles later i give it the old finger wipe n its wet,"NO".Checked the oil and it had hardly moved.
Did another 80 miles and on the cooled down inspection i found it,displaced O ring on the oil filler neck.Whipped it off to sort it out(think i could see new looking cam chain tensioner wear blocks, any info on this is greatly appreciated).
I put it back together and wiv hope in my heart i was off for a 50mile pleasure test run........
What a buzz to find the crank seal dry as a bone, wicked.
What a perfect end to a possible nightmare,my love grows on on.Im off out in it now to celebrate, get in...
be safe
keep smiling
ben....
