MIL on WOT - RS_AJP Log Review
Discussion
I have recently found I get a flickering MIL on WOT
I immediately assumed it was warning about fuel starvation, so tempered my right foot
A couple of days later it was practical to hook up my ancient Nexus7 and my navigator reviewed the readings on our drive home from Germany
She also started the logging function, to ensure I had something to review when home
However, I've never looked at the logs before, mainly because the Nexus7 is almost unusable, so it was tricky getting them off the tablet
If anyone is willing to have a look at the logs and tell me what is going on I would be very grateful
Please PM for a link

Many thanks to those of you who PM'd me and reviewed the logs, much appreciated
It seems the underlying cause was the Starter Motor Solenoid failure, well actually it was my incompetence
While removing/testing/refitting the starter motor at least half a dozen times, on one occasion I forgot to isolate the battery, and the throttle cable acted as a fuse wire when I touched it with a socket extension
Fortunately I had a spare cable, so not a huge problem, but when I fitted it I didn't adjust it properly
The MIL was happening when the TPs went past their expected range, although the TP readings on the logs only went to 94.7
The Nexus7 is working slightly more reliably now I've cleared the cache, so I was able to see that the TP flashes red at WOT when testing with the engine off
Since the last person to do the setup was Joolz (admittedly some time ago), I'd chosen to leave it alone, but I can see now that I need to try to level the TP readings, as they are 2 apart most of their range
