catalytic converter, how many cells?

can anybody tell me how many cells the orginal cats have had? i know that the aftermarket /lowcost replacement ones are sold with 200 cells....but i need to know the amount of the original equipment.

4.2AJP, Year 1997

some say factory fitment was 200, some say 400cells to meet NOX regulations....so waht is right?

i´m not interested to start a discussion what somebody else has fitted and passed MOT, i "only" need to know the original factory setup.

I believe it was mentioned recently by Joolz it was 200 cell.

Is there an easy way to tell? I still have my original that I took off the car and mines a 1997 4.2
