Shame we cant all agree never to sell a Cerbera for less than £18k, protect our investments and all.
Wouldnt this keep the market price higher?
More worrying news, David Gerald my local main dealer has a 97 in stock, engine just rebuilt at £15k,
saying that, have you seen the 2000 Tuscans in the classifieds at £20k, a couple of which have red rose upgrades & engine warranties.
edited to add, this isn't a new phenomenon, I paid £16k for mine 2 years ago, one owner, 28k & a grand's worth of plate with it, I think this thread comes around at the end of every summer.

halls if yours has been in a crash as you describe in "BE HONEST NOW, HAVE YOU DRIVEN 170MPH+ ???" Topic then you can take another 25% off the price or wait a very long time to sell, going by the classifieds. Not many people seem to like to buy crashed cars as it could contain un-repaired damage or cracks that quicken the corrosion rates etc.. it also reflects negatively on the driver's ability to drive the car respectfully and safely.

Always difficult to price any car, regardless of marque, summer prices for TVRs are always higher, but they will normalise in the next couple of months when the realisation that it could be sitting in tha garage for the next 5 months dawns.

Re the crash repaired aspect, agree that 25-30% reduction seems to the going rate, a recent 4.5 with a 2005 RR rebuild and upgrade went for £12.5K

Its sickening to see how 'cheap' some cerberas go for, but I suppose if the owners needs a quick sale then they budge it down a few k.
Owners - PLEASE dont sell your cars to numpties! Lets keep them in the experienced/enthusiast market, its the only way to keep our cars prices strong and insurance premiums reasonable....

I have to agree with this statement. 
Given that they stopped making these wonderful cars, do you think it is therefore likley that rarity value will become a factor soon. For example, the Griff prices are pretty high (versus the Chim, which they made a lot more of) 
As for the price, I think it should reflect the quality and history of the car. Therefore pay a higher price for a truly sorted car, pay a lower price and take your chances (although I know it's not always that simple).

unfortunately prices are really low - especially from dealers ....
lots of people are ereally scared of mileage, and in fact anyone that's used the car - on the other handy they are capable of giving you a very nasty surprise every so often.
Personally I like the pic on the low loader - can't see the point in pretending that this will never happen when you buy a Cerb ......

Halls, Ive been try to sell mine for a while now and have only had a couple of people even come to view it, despuite the fact I have advertised on pistonheads and autotrader. Halls, I think you are probably looking at £16k tops as I am struglling for interest at £18995, and mine is a 99 plate with Austec ECU remap and full light conversions all round!
