One of those moments that makes everything right in the world:
Crawling along a dual carriageway in Nottingham stuck in heavy traffic today. Get to the front of the queue and find the reason for the hold up. A brand-new Ferrari has broken down in the fast lane - bonnet up, spanner man frantically trying to fix it.
Grinned like a Cheshire cat as I glided past, before flooring it and letting the mechanic and owner appreciate the sound of a real drivers car - nice!

I think you're a horrible person . I wouldn't take pleasure in seeing anyone with a break down, and especially not someone prepared to risk having an unreliable car because petrol flows through his veins 
You should try to help him rather than take pleasure in his demise.
Can I try to make this thread reflect its proper title by saying yesterday Cerb 1 - 911 0. The 911 was not a good match for the AJP on full chat. pulling away from stationary he was losing a good 2-3 metres a second to the Cerb. Even when I let him in front after a customary wave he booted it and I had to feather the throttle not to rear end him in about half a mile.

New Ferraris are driven by people with bad inferiority complexes - after all, why pay between £50K to £100K more for something slower than a Sagaris? (Enzo excepted). Modern Ferraris are Fiats in dresses bought by people who care more about how they look in a car and want some automotive jewellery to match their medallian. I'm much more interested in cars which challenge the driver and require skill (and wide roads) to master...

I read the title and thought it may have been a interesting post about a Cerbera getting the better of a Ferrari.
If you Cerb broke down and I have seen them by the side of the road previously, I wouldn't come past you and then floor it and laugh my head off then post it in the Honda forum.
The comment about Ferrari's would indicate you have the inferiority complex rather the Ferrari drivers. Its not all about the fastest car, if I had the money I would buy a 360CS tomorrow.
I would think poor git, shame if I came past you at the side of the road.

I love my Cerb, but only IMHO the ferrari 360 is one of the most georgeous cars of all time. I don't even know how it'd compare to my Cerb in a straight line as I've never even looked up the specs for the car. But it doesn't need to beat the cerb for me to want one. Pure automotive pornography.
The words tongue in cheek clearly have no meaning any more... that's the trouble with forums - someone always takes it too seriously. Get real chaps, we're not discussing life or death situations here!

Fezzas are no match for TVRs - some Porsches can put up a fight though. I was giving rides around Silverstone in my 4.5 when, on an outlap, an excited passenger noted a Porsche GT2 racer on slicks arrive behind. After I'd selected a ZZ Top track on the CD player on the Hangar Straight, the Porsche was all over me like a rash through Stowe and into the Vale. But from the exit of the Vale through Club I went up the gears with a whiff of opposite lock and blew the Porsche away. Passenger experienced for the first time what the big-banger TVR is really all about.

This is a cerb forum - we're all united, and we gotta open our eyes a little, a joke is a joke, and a little sportsman like piss-taking/laughing at the competition is all well and good if its done with a little honour - I'm sure Peteross didnt throw a freakin used condom at the poor fezza owner? Well said Ash! There's nothing I find more tedious than people who take themselves too seriously. Just for once I take a small bit of joy from the fact that I'm in the more reliable sportscar and you'd think I'd tried to murder someone's baby.
I'm actually a motoring journalist in 'real life' and when you write for the mags you only get positive feedback, while the forums always seem to attract the negative stuff.
Why be negative? It's summer, it's Cerb weather and my car is running great. I only posted this because I thought it would raise a wry smile from a few people - wish I hadn't bothered.
