Interesting, just asked the bloke for more details, asked him what happened to rest of engine, he was not very forthcoming, he just said in good nick no signs of excessive wear or overheating. Asked if the crank is billet or cast and he said its steel.

I would like to know that too! I was tempted, if it was closer to home I would have had a butchers and bid myself. If it genuinely had a steel crank rather than cast iron it would have been worth it for that alone!
