Ice warning light

Hiya,

Today for no reason my ice warning light on the cerb kept cycling through green, amber and red than after about 30 mins has stuck constantly on red? I can tell by the sweat on my forehead and my betty swallocks that it is indeed not below zero so why does the car think it is? Does anyone know where the sensor is or would it be another problem?

The sensor is in the nose, in front of the radiator....if the light is annoying, then simply stick a bit of insulation tape over it....you can get some in fake walnut to match the dash
