Spark plug socket size?

Hi all,

Is there a particular type of socket that will fit in the AJP8 block to remove the spark plug?

I've got a Draper one and another one here and although they are both 10mm spark plug sockets, they won't fit in the hole that the spark plug is recessed in.

You need a narrow motorbike style one IIRC.

I got one that fits from Halfords, they sell a couple of different sizes only a couple of quid.

Failing that, you may need to so what I did and file down an oversized one. Remember though that once you've removed the Chrome surface that it will go rusty, so oil it.
