Cerbera buying guide

Does one exist, or does anyone have one. Looks like a Cerby will be on the list as my wife is expecting our first child (due Jan 06), and there will be no way that we will be able to go out in the T350 with 3 of us, so the 4 seater is needed.
This will be my 5th TVR, so I'm no stranger the TVR, but the Cerb is one car I have not researched on.
If it helps, I reckon my budget will be £20k and I'm looking for a 4.5. either latter part of this year, or early next year
Really looking for things to watch out for, like check for 'x' if car has done 25000 miles etc.

A cerb is not much use for a new baby ie cant go in the back until a year old (fwd facing only).
A baby seat in the front isnt ideal as it is really squashed up against the dash and so isnt great in an accident.
You cant then easily fit an adult passenger in the back behind the passenger seat.
Keep the 2 seater and sell it slowly to get the best prices. Then spend a few months on the look out for a great cerb. By that time you will be able to get the baby in the back with a fwd facing seat.

Eventually, with 3 seats needed, the T350c has to go, so Cerby is the only option for a TVR, and since scooter (babies pre birth name) will be in rear facing for say 1 year, I have time to sort this all out.

What you need to know might depend on the route you want to take with your purchase.
If you want to cut through 95% of the worries, deal with someone like James Agger
as many owners here have already.
He knows these cars inside out, has the top people look after his cars presale and simply doesn't sell pups.

may also assist.
Pop along to create some weather with us at C.R.E.A.M 2005 as there will be over 60 Cerbs
attending, and you can see and talk Cerbs all you want!
I have used both my Cerbs as family cars, although my daughter was 7 when I obtained the first,
so not the same as a young baby, but there are plenty here with young nippers.
It's a great car, there are duffers like any TVR's, but get a good one (you can with your budget)
and you will never look back!
