I need to take my Cerb for its first MoT in the next couple of weeks. Is there anything I need to check/look out for before I go? I'm thinking emissions, handbrake etc...

Thanks
Jules

Differing schools of thought here no doubt ( well there`s a surprise)

I would suggest choosing your test station with care, as they do differ.......

I would make sure the lights , washers and horn works, and leave the rest to the testers opinion.

address any failure points if they arise, or you could spend time and or money for no reason.(for instance the handbrake really doesent have to be stunning to pass)

good luck

I'd recommend taking it to you local TVR garage and let them arrange it for you.

I agree, if your local dealer can't do the MOT for you, then they'll know a "friendly place"

Go to an m.o.t. station where everybody appears pissed or stoned, or one where the owner doesn't use the mask whilst welding.

As mentioned I'd take it to a TVR dealer and as them to arrange it (tie it in with a service).

Mine failed on handbrake (surprise), fog light (never did work out how to turn that on) and emissions. Luckily a few tweaks and sympathetic words from the garage had it through.
