What do people think ive currently got 18inch Anthracite Spiders on my imperial blue cerbera see pic in my profile. Not sure whether to either put in a chrome grille at the front re: air in take with traditional alloy colour wheels. or keep the Anthracite alloys and get a black grille in place?

or just leave it exactly as it is?

Main feed back im after is on what alloys, i bought the car with the Anthracite and initially didnt like them so was going to change them, but they have grown on me slightly but i still think about having alloy instead.

any feed back most welcome!

cheers

i have the same Lotus azure blue and anthracite.. at first i was not sure. but again like you they've grown on me, plus need less cleaning! he he.

i do however want to get another set of 4 for the car, in the original 'alloy' colour. thus have the option to decide!

that hasn't helped you one bit eh! sorry

Dan...keep them the same...I dont want 2 cars looking the same in this neck of the woods!!!

No, seriously....forget the grill option, I think the front should remain the same as was intended. I personally prefer the alloy/silver look to the spiders as in my pic below....but its all personal taste........BTW car looks good with the headlamp conversion....whoever recommended the bodyshop to you should be congratulated and bought a large beer!

Not the best photo, but mine are stripped back and polished (not by me, by the previous owner. Looked stunning when I got the car, not quite so now with my unwillingness to polish them). Keep you spiders and get them stripped. Much cheaper

IMO they would look excellent on your blue

Hmmm Dan

Now you've got me thinking about anthracites on my car. Maybe we should have a trial swap? One's slightly kerbed though

Anthracites look great on a yellow/orange/light coloured car. Not on a blue/dark one. Sorry, thats my opinion.

Alloys all the way my friend. I have an imperial blue, and the shiny alloy (when cleaned) just finish it off beautifully. They also look superb with the low profile 35s especially when you take the time to colour the tyres up properly.

Obviously only IMHO

I think that the anthracites look good on race cars and if your going for everything black, ie the stealth look !!!

What about the new black chrome finish? I really like them.
