I mailed the guy to ask what it was all about, and this was his reply.......

Thanks for the email and sorry about any mistakes in the listing it was written in hast - I?m not a TVR person.

Basically the valve was purchased last year by my brother for his TVR which he sold before having it fitted, and now it?s been given to me, unfortunately I have no use for it.

I have checked the part number on the FSE website (TVR application) and it lists this valve as being for the Cerbera 4.5 (1998) and TVR 4.3 (1992) which will be the Griffith. It maybe a mistake on their part unless the Griffith and Cerbera have similar fuel regulators and rails as the Griffith is Rover V8 powered and the Cerbera TVR?s own engine.

By the way i do agree with you about these valves (regulators) not being fitted as standard to any TVR but i never implied that they are, the information in the listing is from the FSE website and has not been written by me! But i have reworked the entire listing to make it as clear as one can.


Still don't think I'll bid on it though.......
