Well, I had suspected as much, my clutch fingers have gone.
The bite point has been moving up and down for a while and today I was approaching a junction and couldnt select any gears.
Its the usual. Pedal feels normal and there isnt any usage of fluid.
I have a new clutch, just need somewhere to fit it. My usual ramp is out of aaction for a week, the guy is on holiday. Has anyone ever done a clutch change up the drive on axel stands???

Pretty easy on stands....4 of these and a decent trolley jack, and Bob's your Aunties' live in lover!
All the work I'm doing with my clutch is being done with the car on stands, my record of ripping the 'box out is 2 hours from engine switch off!!!
Hehe!
It was really a straight forward job. Worst part is bleeding the system at the end.
I got the clutch from ebay! I dont think it had done more than 3000 miles, it really was untouched very nearly brand new.
I used a ford 1st motion shaft to line the clutch up and the box went straight on. Also used a new release bearing, from a Triumph TR6.
If any of you do really want you clutches doing then I dont mind lending a hand. It would be best if you had access to a ramp but if not it can be done on the drive.

Is this a 4.2 with the AP Racing clutch or 4.5 with the later bellhousing?
