Tesco 99 or Optimax

Now I’m pretty religious on putting shell optimax in the Cerbera, but there’s that odd occasion where you just can’t seem to make to the next garage, and a substitute has to be used. Near on empty I drove into Tesco’s looking for some super to get me home. Rolling up I see 99 RON on the side… result! But then thought this is 1 more than the 98 quoted by shell?
Now anyone else tried this, seems I got better fuel economy, and seems a better drive than the opitmax.

Engine is a RR 4.5

Hi Dean, I used to use optimax, but same thing needed some juice urgent! so i got sainsburys super unleaded! cheaper and i seem to get more the gallon and car is running perfect.

Think i will try the tescos 99.

Seriously couldn't believe the performance and economy of it.. tank was near on dry.
