...not much else !!!

Cerb 4.5 used to wheel spin in 4th.

Now put foot flat to the floor and lots of pops and bangs and roaring, but acceleration is sluggish to say the least. However, when the revs rise and she gets on the cam so to speak, she takes off, bit like turbo lag really but worse.

If you accelerate slowly and progressively then its a good deal better. However, this is not the nature of the beast is it.

Any ideas

I've never span in 4th gear either. Can't be standard. My previous cerb was chipped and that went like a rocket compared to standard.

wheelspin in 4th? come on .. on ice only!

(excepting the sp12) no road cerbera ever spins it's wheels in 4th, or 3rd for that matter. you've got to be driving with NO mechanical sympathy to get wheelspin in 2nd in the dry on any decent surface ..

I was sure it used to wheel spin in 4th, at least 3rd. However, its been so long since it accelerated properly, that maybe my memories are becoming distorted as time goes by - you know the "old days were the best days and were brilliant compared to today" syndrome.

Still, the car turns heads in 4th like it used to, so I'll have to be satisfied with that for the moment!!!
