I have a few lx issues with my cerb. HAvent investigated properly yet. But I notice that the right flasher switches itself off. I thought that they were designed to stay on forever until you cancel manually. I should know the answer to this one! So I guess that I might have a ribbon issue (albeit this was changed a yr ago).

They are designed to cancel automatically. IIRC there is a sequence of buttons to press to access a set-up mode.

Someone will know, or it may be on here someplace

my cerb cancels itself as it says in the hand book it also says if you hold indicator for a few seconds it will cancel as soon as you release it which is particually good when changing lanes on motorways or duel carriageways etc

Mine auto cancels and I can manually cancel (as in lane changing) with a single flick of the lever in the same direction as it is already indicating

There is a button sequence to set the auto cancel but I think you have to adjust an optical cutter disk behind the wheel to set the cancel position. Never had to do it but I remember reading a post on here about it. Try a forum search

Mine auto cancel, so could be either a ribbon cable as you mentioned, or possibly the small PCB tucked up against the steering column.

Steve.
