I cant help, but (unless its none of my business) why does he want 4 cerbs?

2 would be nice... 4 would cost a bit much to keep on the road wouldnt it? (then again, im just not in that leage... yet! )

I actually want 7. One for each day of the week, all in different... shades of yellow

Bites tongue regarding time spent in garages and TVR parts supply.

I can see why 4 Cerbs would be useful

I think mine has been at the doctors for just over 3 months now...

Morning.

It was coming up to the 50,000 mile mark and had started to use a lot of oil (about a litre every 250 miles at its worse), so I decided the time was right to get it rebuilt.

The rebuild didn't actually take to long, but I'm just waiting for a replacement fan switch from TVR to be able finish the car off and get it MOT'd.

The crank needed regrinding and the valves had stretched, probably due to my earlier problems of smashed inner valve springs a couple of years back (only found by luck!)

With a new radiator and a fair few other bits and bobs the total bill is looking to come in at around £4.5k, which isn't a bad price at all considering, I'll put a full report up once I know all the details.

All done at Topcats Racing, who I heartily recommend.
