C.R.E.A.M CONVOY TO LEEDS FRIDAY 23/9

Ok...eyes down and thinking caps on...I have come up with a proposed route with rendezvous points for individuals/smaller convoys to join, en-route to Leeds for those who are staying in or around the Leeds area Friday night.
After consultation with both Ash (SXS) and Dave (Davetherave), this is the plan we have executed.....
Those of you who are coming from the south west or west London areas should take the M25 and pick up the A1(M). Your meeting point will be with Ash (SXS) at the Sandy Roundabout. There is a Texaco garage, with a Burger King and a Little Chef, with plenty of parking available. You should arrange to be at this meeting point for between 1.45pm/2.15pm for a prompt departure at 3.00pm.
Those of you who are travelling from the south-east/London area, should take M25/M11 and meet at the Birchanger Services on the M11 Junction 8, for 2.00pm/2.30pm for a prompt departure at 2.45pm. (These services have a Shell garage for those wanting Optimax!!).
It is then proposed that both convoys should meet at the PETERBOROUGH SERVICES A1(M) arriving approx 3.30...we then expect to leave here at 4.00pm...travel up the A1 to theBGRANTHAM SERVICE AREA A1 for approx 4.45pm...hopefully meet up with any of those who are joining from the Nottingham area, before a departure at 5.15pm...
...still heading up the A1, the next meeting point being A1 BARNSDALE BAR SERVICE AREA for approx 6.15pm...meeting up with those from the Sheffield area, before leaving there about 6.30pm, and heading to Leeds, and hopefully arriving at the hotel around 7.00/7.15pm.
Now then...what I propose to do, is make a list of those who plan to meet somewhere on this route. If you are going to join us please post here on PH where you propose to meet up. Also I would like to make up a list of names and mobile numbers, so that those who are saying they will arrive at their chosen point don't arrive for one reason or another can be contacted by myself or one of the rest of the group to see if you are running late/not coming etc, so we can wait or arrange for you to catch up.....I don't expect you to post your mobile numbers here on PH, so you can mail them to me via my profile if you wish....please include your name/PH name/mobile number....
We also agree that it may be a good idea, for those of you who have "walkie-talkies" to bring them along......an agreed 'channel number' to be decided before the 'off'.....
FINALLY....AND VERY IMPORTANTLY........
This 'convoy' will have some "rules".......
1. No irresponsible driving....NO speeding and dangerous overtaking manoeuvres..... we do not want a 'tug' from the "Old bill" for 'bad behaviour'!!! (This is an 'un-official convoy)....
2. We are not expecting to stop at any point other than those above, except for emergencies.....please make sure that you have sufficient fuel etc at the previous stop to make it through to the next stop....
3.Ash, Dave and myself take no responsibility for those who fail to meet at the rendezvous sites at the times given above...but we do expect to be bought beers, but only in pint glasses!!!!!!

I'm hoping they'll sort the gt out, but I've already thrown a large loaf at her, this gt is becoming a headache and a half now, just dont get it, full power from 3rd/4th/5th but 1st is a nightmare.
I'm thinking, it might be cheaper just ripping all that fourwheel drive and steer bits and bobs out and shove a re-con T56 in there, but doubt it'll fit as the engines mounted horizantly and all that... arrrggggrrrrrrrrrr
We, myself and mrs m.m, would like to join the birchanger convoy, but it all depends on 'A' what time we can get the babysitter to pick up the little sprogs, and 'B' because i am working nights that week what time I can get my sleepy head out of bed. 
There is a good possibility we will be playing catchup, so i may ask for some phone numbers off of people nearer the time.

Looks like there'll only be a bout 4 of us convoying up then!....still at least we'll be able to keep together!
