Well i bought the 4.5 i was after, its in my garage while i smell the waft of petrol in the air and the garage has become a warm place...

Im not ashamed to admit it-- the car scares me, the throttles not going past halfway for now.

I was driving a 355 only 2 weeks ago on a track day and the cerb feels signifcantly faster and more brutal.

first thing i noticed--all the looks as i pull up in the petrol station, all the looks as i drive down the street, why do people in jap cars screw it past me at 9000rpm, surely they know what this beast can do :)

I had a good long chat with myself about this car and respecting it, i found out how back end happy it was with even slight doses of power when i test drove it--- thankfully the fright was enough.

This car is awesome and feels faster than the diablo i drove a couple of years back.

I love this car.

anyone know anything about this car.. R57 the reg starts with.

Anyone in the west yorkshire area fancy a chat maybe a drink-- i need educating.

I have not got a cerb (yet!) currently have a chimaera. But can fully understand what you are going through.

Have just been in my garage(how sad is that !) and thinking what a sexy car I have. Have had too much beer to contemplate driving but looking forward till tomorrow. And I have owned my current car for 2.5 years. Must be a TVR thing!

But don't need to tell you that.

Congrats on your purchase...

These cars do need some serious respect and with confidence and with the right conditions, you'll soon discover what the car can really do "beyond half throttle!"

Why not come along to the CREAM event...there will be more people to meet and chat about Cerberas, than you can wave a stick at!...and not too far from you too!

Details here.... www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=158128&f=6&h=0

Oh...and finally....a post aint no good without a picture!

I'm in West Yorks when I'm home. Car is in the classifieds but after 2 and a bit years I've seen most of the regular niggles.
Happy to give you a hand or meet up for a chat sometime.

Gareth,

This must be a Yorkshire thing, as like you I have just bought a Cerbera 45(RR). And I agree with the take it steady as she goes theory of learning how to drive a car with such a sting in the tail. My wife drives it as well and as a passenger I feel safer than when she has driven me in any other car.

Don't know if any of you know the place, but the Chequers in Ledsham (little village on way to Selby, near Fairburn) is a nice pub for a meet, and the owner has owned lots of TVRs and he currently has a lovely Cerbera, but it was for sale the last time i was there.

Would be a good place to meet if close enough for everyone - i know West Yorkshire is a big place

Need to agree dates...

Lots of things going on so might be better to do something one evening during the week?
