I need to get a new exhaust system (Sports)fitted to my Cerbra 4.5. Apart from Main dealerships in N.E, would anyone know or recommend a mechanic who could supply and fit an appropriate system. Also, would they carry out other mechanical work on TVR's, as Main dealerships are proving very expensive. Though I dont mind paying for good service.
Any advice would be much appreciated, as driving around with a missing tail pipe looks a little un cool.

Hi, i think if you check HHC have one of if not the lowest labour rates for any TVR main dealer. There is alot more to a service than just changing the oil and filter, would you want to risk your TVR to a non TVR trained mechanic?
You will probably also find if you don't use one of the well known specialists for servicing you might have to significantly lower the asking price if/when you come to sell it.

I don't think there's anywhere around here that can supply the exhaust "off the shelf" so to speak other than HHC.
If you got one mail order, any little garage with a four post lift will fit it for you, there pretty easy to do. My local garage has just re-aligned mine for the pricely sum of £2.
Where abouts in the N.E. are you? Lots going on in the next three weeks if you want to come out and play with your toy.
