Have you seen the crashed Cerb in the classifieds?

I hope whoever was in it wasn't hurt, it seems to have stood up to what was obviously a major crash extremely well, which is encouraging.

Oh man, wish I could save her, but that'll cost thousands in body work and respray and chassis replacement etc etc etc.... the only valuable things are probably the ECU and interior but the rest is just daunting to say the least

Great - so that is my £500 investment plus recovery costs = £700 total outlay.
Sold the tree for £20 - so now owes me £680.
Anyone want half a bonnet, a bent wheel, a ripped seat, a green steering wheel or a smashed windscreen?!

Clutch/ Gearbox/ Diff have to be worth a little bit surely?? Anyone hazard a guess as to whether the engine will run once cleaned out a little?? (hope that stuff hasnt got inside?) + theres an interior there?

Could be a bargain?

You're assuming they're all in working order... I'd say based on the visible damage from the pics, the thing is a TOTAL writeoff... sadly The kind of shock this baby could have experienced most likely annihilated all the mechanicals.... its worth a look! I'm sure a few indies would be interested in possibly checking things out first...

Rear off side wheel looks ok and it might have a leven petrol cap !!!

Dont see what the problem is!

Hammer the chassis straight, bit of fiberglass, redo the tracking get chips away to do the windscreen get a front end respray to get rid of the stone chips and your laughing. Replant the tree and your done!

I have to admit that I'm the owner of the wreckage. Car was a lot more dented than me (only 1 week in Hospital), although have to say my pride is probably more dented!

I think it has been observed already that she is indeed for high place, but before her untimely final departure she may have some role to play as a donor for other sick or injured brethren...

I only had a quick glance, thought I saw two inlet pipes. I couldn't look at the picture for long, tears started to well up in my eyes.

Did you feel the car stood up well and protected you well ? Or would you never drive another!?
