well its better than 9 or 10k from fens, wish i hadnt bothered but it was motors free listings day, rush of blood to the head, thought it was a good idea hope he doesnt turn up, probably take ton70s advice

Disconnect the ignition box on the day, he'll turn up show off the car, and then get in to start it, and start appearing very worried.

Then say, I'm sorry, but it looks like its got an electric failure. As long as he's happy with not giving negative feedback you'll just ignore the whole transaction.
