I'm not even sure what state it's in tbh, but at £50 I thought it was worth a gamble

Will need to get a phase converter for it, and that's going to cost £250ish.

Still rediculously cheap if I can get it all to work.

And there I was about to offer help installing/collecting the thing as I'm local!

Hire a local digger, dig a 4x8x7 hole, hire a welder, weld up a frame, hire a concrete mixer, pour it in, seal all the walls up nicely.... throw in a heavy duty bench.... oh, dont forget some steps...

and there you have it...

you can do all your undercar work from a hole in your garage!...

And all for, say 400 odd quid max?



PS. when you dont have a use for it anymore, seal up the walls and floor with some water plastic and then tile it up, fill it up with water, add a bit of chlorine... get the rubber ducks out, and there you have it, a small indoor swimming pool! Pop a bottle of champagne, bring your mistress round one saturday afternoon, and have an underwater party, while the other halfs at her parents... sorted. and all for 400 odd quid

Have considered the pit idea Ash, and other than the problems with local authorities approving installing pits, I wanted a lift so that I can stack cars as I have far too many and not enough space!

Never mind, I'll keep looking.

wouldn't you need deep foundations? deeper than the pit, other wise the pit would clapse inwards?

Buy a two post. About 800-1000 for a decent one. But remember, things like this aren't worth cutting corners on. Get it installed properly and get it checked out by an inspector.
