Gettin new tyres, what's best ?

Looking at gettin some new tyres in the next week or so, would like some feedback on one's suited for wet conditions, currently got Toyo proxies but in MHO far too scary on wet roads :yikes:

Hows it going Sonnylad??, Toyo T1-r are a pretty good tyre for dry & wet, Tried most now and thats my favourite for all weather

I didn't like the Proxes in the wet either. Now running GSD-3's which are a better alrounder IMHO. Wasn't too impressed with the Goodyears though at CREAM, definitely struggling for grip virtually everywhere. Having said that they were predictable when provoked....only had about 5 spins....lol.

Just stuck Falken FK451's on, mainly due to CREAM and the need for a new set, went for these due to cost and recommendation from previous posts, very happy with the performance overall, even in the wet today good budget tyre IMHO, Try www.blackcircles.com for these and various others...prices aren't too bad and customer service was spot on

just fitted some T1 R's to mine..so much better than the conti's or the S02/3 I had previously. very grippy in the dry and stable in the wet too.

I can certainly recommend my Dunlop Super Sport Race tyres, probably biased towards track & dry use only, but very good & sensibly priced

whats the optimum tyre pressure for road use, tyres are 18" Toyo's?

I run 27/28 psi front and back on New type Toyo's
225/35/ZR18 Front
255/35/ZR18 Rear
