Any 'official' C.R.E.A.M. photos yet?

Come on Graham don't keep us in suspense any longer, the only photos I've seen of my P&J is off road or rather unfortunately a shot taken into the sun. :(

I was too busy enjoying myself to take any pics. :D

I'm ready to sign up for next year - how about Cadwell?

Yes indeed, Cadwell would be awesome, just ask Too Tall Paul !

Very keen to see the DVD also, any idea of timescale, it took the wedge boys about a month to sort theirs out, we've got to better that

I think I'm right in saying that we spoke very briefly at C.R.E.A.M., I believe you recommend Dunlop Super Sport tyres, can I ask where you got them, what size you run and how much?

Hi Tim,

Yes it was me, the tyres are from my local TVR dealer, TMS & they were £100 + Vat each.

My sizes are 225x40 fronts & 245x35 rear, they are wider than S03's & benefit from a bit of negative camber!

They will not last as long as S03's, but are much grippier IMHO. The extra grip we noticed on a Cadwell track day ( after the previous S03's )was incredible .

Having said this, i would not recommend them if you're not into the track day scene.

Are you running 18" rims? I guess you are with the spiders.

I ask as I was running MaxSport semi slicks at C.R.E.A.M. but the largest size they do them is 205/50/16 which is fine but considerably narrower than the standard 245s. I'm considering what to move onto after I've worn out the MaxSports. But at £52 a corner I might just go for another set of the same.

I liked them, no nasty suprises, a pretty good balance of grip and drift, a huge improvement over the SO3s I had on it at Brands, and they are so cheap that you don't worry about them too much. There's planty of tread left after a round trip to Elvington from Kent and a lot of hooning around the track.

The Maxsports are road legal, but not really advisable as everyday tyres.

Sold as Rally tyres, but they do come in a variety of compounds:

Green Very Hard
Red Hard
Yellow Medium
Yellow Yellow Medium Soft
Blue Very Soft
Blue Blue Super Soft

Fantastic mate, thanks for that, i'll look into those.

I spent months researching my tyre options earlier this year & generally i'm very happy with my Dunlops, but its always worth keeping an open mind.

I did find Elvington wore mine out very quickly. I had done several Cadwell/Donny/Oulton type sessions & they were doing very well, one trip to Elvington & its goodnight Vienna

On the photo front, just waiting for some discs to arrive, but we'll have some on line in the next day
or two.

DVD, well I need to get it completed quickly due to some major work projects on the horizon and I'll be
abroad a lot again soon, so time is crucial to me right now.

I sat watching footage until 4am the other night and it's stunning to watch the day unfold as I missed
so much at the time running around doing things.

I think you'll all enjoy it as it's super quality and quite interesting to see the day's action, so bear with
me, work is underway, but we want to make it as professional as we can for your enhanced viewing.

As for 2006? Well it seems everyone wants this to become an annual event, so I am in discussions
already with 3 venues and am looking at ideas for you already.

Don't forget there will also be C.R.E.A.M trips to Wales, Scotland and into Europe and you'll be able
to book on these within the next couple of weeks ( Although some have already prebooked they
had such fun at C.R.E.A.M so it looks like these will sell out as space is limited! )

Mean while, don't forget the charity auction to win LNT race wheels, a rare number plate and a ride in
the awesome Cerbera Speed 12!

I choose YY or Medium Soft in a wet.

I too was worried about 205 being too narrow, but tbh for blatting around a track I thought they were fine.

I'll be on the look out for another set of cheap 16' rims soon and a set of Soft dry tyres.

I wouldn't want to use the car much on the main roads with such a narrow tyre, and they really aren't very good in the wet as I discovered on the M25, but having said that there was an awful lot of standing water and only about 20miles on the tyres themselves.

I've just noticed that they do a 245/45/17 for the guys out there on RL7's!

I would definitely try them in that size but seeing as my car is a road car 205 is a bit too skinny imo.

I've got a set of 16" rims with 225 and 245s for normal road use, my intention is to only use the 205s for track fun.

If I had 17inch Wheels I'd be tempted to run the Wets 245/45/17 on the road .

If the worst came to the worst I'd just take them off but I'm sure they'd be interesting.

Just noticed some 2nd hand 17's and am very tempted...
