Wheel colour advice.

I've got these people down the roadhttp://www.lap-tab.co.uk/alloywheels.php & as my 16" standard wheels are looking tired, I'm going to let them refurb them.

I like the idea of the colour coded one's in either Blue to match the paint or white, to match the interior.

I'm also thinking of having them in the original colour, as I'm presuming the designer of the car knows a bit more about ashetics than I do.

Any advice please, photo's of standard 16" in different colours, chrome etc, or a photo shop of my car would be greatly appreciated.

Russell...I agree with Mick on this one...keep them original, rather than colour coded!

No all advice welcome I think the white one's would look to max power, unless on a white car.

Can you spot the original colour on that site ?

I presume it's "standard silver"

The Magnesium Alloy Bright Silver (7th down on left) one looks very nice...

As an alternative, why not try Anthracite, i reckon they look quite mean 'n moody with blue

I would remind you that brake dust shows up worse on brightly coloured wheels, so bear that in mind.

If you like them pink, green, purple or whatever buy them, lets not all be sheep. But the second hand market for pink wheels could be a little tough.

18" spider alloys - brand new about £250 each...

CERBERAS were made to have these wheels...

They are the best wheels around for your car, especially as its the faster, blue variety!!!

Forgot to say - the shinier the alloy the better !

Have a look at 'more creamy shots', about ten photos down, there's a blue cerb with spiders - lovely!!!

I went for the high bright silver in the end, I thought they looked a bit plastic / chromey looking at first, but I think they're starting to grow on me.

I'd have them done in the standard colour, if I was getting them done again though.

Looks like a great job! And the colour looks spot on...

I'm still debating whether to go for the madmark stealth look with black spiders, or to keep them silver! Although mine has dark privacy glass already...

Ta , Had that fixed, funny thing though, that old pressure swich was reading 80 cold, 80 under load & about 50 at idle.

The new one's giving 95 cold, 80 under load but only 30 at idle.

Idle speed hasn't changed though (1050)

Still prefer the latter to the zero I was occasionally getting at CREAM though :soiledpants:

another here, looks the same as the colour of Spiders, the blue looked horrid!
