I have an annoying intermittent misfire at 5000rpm or thereabouts on my S6. I’ve had injectors, throttle position sensors (both), throttles balanced, new plugs and HT leads and only run 98 or above fuel.

I’m thinking I may have low or weak flow from the fuel pump. What does everyone else think?

Running out of ideas. It is annoying because other than this the engine runs perfectly.

Don't know with the S6 but on the AJP, next thing would be coils. They have a habit of misfiring above 3-4k revs when breaking down

I'd go for coil packs too, where are you based?

Check the wiring to the fuel pump and make sure you’re getting decent voltage, I had around 150mm of it green & corroded.

You need to datalog the ecu. If the throttle values spike its throttle spindle play if not its ecu injector drivers breakdown.
