Yes this old topic yet again.
I just checked mine as a bit of a smell of fuel and my under bonnet fuel lines are all perished to the point that when i bent one fuel spayed out.
All these line were replaced really quite recently and the hose is date stamped 2022. I have just replaced them all yet again with a newer version of the marine grade fuel hose, according to the boat yard supplying it this is the latest and greatest but they are still expecting it to fail, they are saying they are seeing all rubber components failing early these day not just fuel lines.
Please check regularly even if not old.

That's disturbing news. I'm still running old lines and keep a constant eye on them. I do add a stabilizer to every tankful though. Don't know if it makes any difference.
Can I ask the hose type and length used when you replaced the system. I have a gearbox removal on the list of things to do in the future (replacing the crank end seal) and that would be the ideal time to replace my fuel lines.

Boy and Girls ffs change to PTFE.
I do sleep better at night these days especially as I do carry family & passengers. My mot tester sums it up well “ I always enjoy seeing you and your car, I enjoy it more when you drive away!”
I can post parts list for anyone contemplating decent companies to purchase from.
