The seller reckons 450 + so obviously its interesting. I've emailed him but I'm interested to know if anyone in the UK has done this before.
I had exchanged a few emails with the vendor, it appears the conversion was done in Amsterdam by a company I think called Moritz Racing.
Looks a fab toy, I could be wrong but I seem to remember it was for sale before at 35k euro
Low boost supercharging is ok as long as you can get the MBE mapped (austec I believe can now provide custom map chips).
The V8 is very strong and can take quite a punch in stock form...
Craig has proven that 600+ horses with NOS and a 4.5 are a match made in heaven. So I guess that speaks for itself.
Either way, the cheapest a supercharger upgrade can cost is around 8-10k with the cerbie. And thats simply low boost, probably up to around 500ish.
I believe that european supercharged cerbie is a complete waste of space, that pipe system will kill any pressure gains. Also the 4.2 block in that car is a standard setup, no internal modifications have been done, so god knows the state of the engine.
I would be the first one to say, get her on an independant rolling road and see what she is really making.

I have had a look at the Moritz Racing site and its difficult to decide, based on a language where I only know a few phrases, whether it looks kosher.
The insurance angle is one I'm not too concerned about its more whether I will get more bangs for my bucks...and this does look like it could go with a massive bang!!!
