Cerb body weight
Discussion
Hoping to get the body off my Cerb soon. Been working on the nuts and bolts for, ooh, only about two years now
Seriously, hopefully next weekend or maybe the weekend after.
I have a couple of engine hoists and lots of jacks and such like. I can even get a Manitou or Loadall if need be. Chassis will be pulled out from underneath the body and then needs fully stripped of parts and sent off for blasting and repair.
What does everyone do with the body? How heavy is it? Can I just rest it on some trestles or sawhorses? Realistically it’ll be off the chassis for at least 6 months I would guess, possibly longer if past performance is anything to go by.
