Going back in the workshop tomorrow. Window motor is oke. It makes the window go up and down. When I push the button to let the window go down, this also works. Pushing the button to let the window go up does not work. If I bridge the 2 wires there is also no reaction.

The other door functions as it should. This makes me think that the ecu must be oke? Maybe some of you had the same?

Can you swap ECU sides and see where the problem ends up, swap plugs over and see what happens !

There is only 1 big ECU box in the boot "door and window" control unit, or not?

Check the micro switch is working as designed. That can prevent the window from going up (when the door is open).

Is there one plug going in or two, one left and one right? Swap em!

(Tbf I’ve not looked my Cerb but my Tuscan was like that)

There is a micro switch in the door, with a small plastic flap attached to it that the glass pushes against. The switch is revealed by removing the door card. It prevents the window from going up past a certain level when the door is open. IIRC the glass closes the switch when the window is down. As the glass rises up to within a few inches of the top, the glass stops contacting/closing the switch, preventing any further upward movement.

Farmyards.... this was the biggest problem..... ones we knew what the function was everyrhing functioned again.

A problem is also that the doorglass doesn't sit properly in the sliders. If we show it a bit formward, it flaps out of the slider at the back and vice versa.

When the wondow glas goes up it also slides over the carbon profile which sits at each end of the front screen. I have new door glass in it which I put in during the restoration. It does look like this glass is a bit smaller than the original, which I still have. Next time I will take the orginal glass with me to the workshop to see if it is different.

So the micro switch was the issue.? Happy to have helped if so. The glass position can of course be adjusted by the two rubber-clad clamps. Hope you get it sorted smile

Thanks for help indeed.... On the left side the glass doesn't get into the top position. I can adjust this with te clamps. The funny thing is that at my drivers side the new (original) TVR gass doesn't seem to be long enough.

And when flips out of the runners, this also disturbs the micro switch. Let's se next time.I will take my original door glass to the workshop and compare the old with the new.....
