What Cerb?

No, not a new monthly publication - just me wondering what model's the one to go for.

Gonna be outing my cob in spring and am considering all sorts of weird and wonderfual machinery. now despite swearing I'd never have another TVR after a hideous experience with a Tasmin in the late 80's (the rear wheel collapsed twice when the lower wishbone pivot pin snapped amongst other things!) for some strange reason I'm quite fancying a Cerb.

So bearing in mind the guy I bought my cob off bought a Tuscan and is now on his second replacement engine(!), what's the model to have sub £20K that will be reliable and what should most defo be avoided! (that should start a bun fight :))

Nice 4.2, uprated dampers, brakes, maybe the lights as well. Also low milage doesnt mean low costs, why do you think they are low milage???

Mine has 64,000 and is going very very well.

Naaa! 4.5 blue, the higher the mileage the better sorted. 55k smooth, loud & still smiling.

I'm still looking for one, there are at least three I like in the classifieds at the moment . A white 4.2, a purple 4.5 and a red 4.2..

Wow, Nervous is right: tin mines are a much better investment than any Cerb. If you get over the PC stuff, an SA diamond mine is even better.

Blue, common as muck - you need a red one. 64k miles, still pulls like a train.

Mines in the classifieds, Wife wants to sell it, I don't so as a compromise, it's for sale at a rediculuosly high price
