A rose by any other name...

Mates, thanks for the input. It is looking pretty good for proceeding to red rose, although clearly I'm going to have to sign up for advanced driving tuition. 200mph+ will certainly come in handy on the M40.
As to why - oy. The car had always seemed quite smooth but a bit of a wuss compared to my old 4.2. Took it in for new tyres and bits and casually mentioned the odd puff of steam from the bonnet. Turned out to be burning spattered oil. Two cylinders gone on compression testing and the other 6 looking not so hot. Typical of TVR in two ways - chronic breaking down and yet still passing EVERYTHING on the road even with a
ed engine.
As for price - don't know yet. shudder to think.

Dom snd Jamie are turning out some truly amazing Red Rose motors - they just get better and better. With exceptional service and value, you couldn't be in better hands.
At Austec, the RRs are regularly seen in the 400BHP club (even before some Austec tweaking)! If you can afford it - go for it!
The most powerful 4.5 Cerbie yet seen is a recently built Red Rose.
