Locking Wheel Nuts

Broke the adaptor for my locking wheel nuts today. Austec managed to get them all off, but I now am 4 nuts short (fnaar fnaar).

Anyway, having spoken to Jeremy at ShinyNuts, it seems replacemnts are not easy to come by, something to do with the hubs being off of a Jeep or something? He says some owners he has heard of are using a close match (something to do with thread sise UK/US?), but not recommended. Have spoken to a few owners this morning, none seem to have/use locking wheel nuts.

My car is garaged when at home and I rarely (if ever) park it up somewhere where a scrote is likely to try putting it on bricks and having the wheels away(famous last words?).

Does anyone know where I can get the right sort of locking nut (a UNF thread?) or should I just buy some nice shiny nuts, forget about the locking variety, and be done with it?

Cheers longbow, I actually used the search option and am now phoning my local Jeep place to see if they have what I want. If not I'll give them a call

Do you have a part number for the little devils?

I don't have locking nuts (), but think that maybe it would be better with...

I have seen a few locking nuts, though they allways seem to have one nut bigger than the rest.
Would this not put the wheels slightly out of balance?

Doubt it as the wheels are balanced off the car/without any nuts? Having said that, Austec took the 4 locking ones off and I drove the car with them missing, to the Chrysler place and I thought I could feel a slight wobble, but thinking back it was probably more like one of those nervous ninny moments (you know, when you convince yourself something is about to go wrong with the car when in fact there's nothing wrong with it)

01040116AA...preceeded with a C on the invoice but with a K on the bag they came in

I put them on, then walked round the car with one in my hand trying to work out which one I had missed, but in fact there were 5 in the bag? A spare I guess as I dont know too many 5 wheeler cars about

The 5th one will be for the spare on the back door - the Jeep, not the cerb! eek!
