When I hit the loud pedal the temp gauge drops five to ten degrees - is that normal?

My gauge reads between 90 and 100 depending on air temp and traffic - not too bothered about that as the temp at the radiator has been checked when the fan kicks in.

Running temp is the same as mine, but the guage has never gone down with throttle........When you apply throttle, I presume your oil pressure goes up ?

Yes oil pressure is fine & the car is running well. Just one of those unexplained TVR idosyncrasies I guess I'll have to get used to.

It sounds like your temp guage is trying to replicate the oil pressure guage,

There might be a short of some description between the two guages.

Well I am changing the dash to a Leven stainless item before the end of the year and was planning to get a new gauge then anyway to save time - hopefully that will sort it out.
