Shame about the locked thread, but this forum does seem a lot more polarised than it used to be. And unfortunately there are a lot more stirrers than there used to be when I joined. Its a shame when moderators have to step in cos it just means there aren't enough sensible adult people on this forum to keep it under control.

But reading the locked thread it did strike me when he said he's had nothing but negatives. I realised I hadn't congratulated Daggart for having a Cerb that actually lived up to the factory hype of 420 bhp.

So congratulations Daggart, one day I hope I'll see it in action. :)

Perhaps the thread should have read "Here's Daggart's stickers, post here if you like them, don't post if you don't"

Then everybody would have been happy.

In terms of power though, I'd love to have a drive of that little beauty

Agree 100% with Julian, congrats Daggart.
After all the shi*e you've been through with the cerb, its nice to see you get a result. A lesser man would have folded long before now.

I'm going to have the next best thing - a passenger ride
Last time I went in it it was 403bhp or something, so looking forward to going out in it again after the injectors have been fitted

yeah real shame the thread was locked .. I'd got a reply written which introduced some balance to it (no really, it did) .. but when i pressed to post it the thread had just been locked. I hate it when that happens.

Anyway i sent the reply to Jon through his profile cos i thought it was important that whilst it's not to everyone's tastes the car *is* his so he has the right to sticker it however he pleases

In this loony world of daft laws and regulations a man should really have the right to sticker his own car

Yep I'd like to think that if you leave the group dynamic working a bit longer the balance comes back most of the time, but its a difficult decision for the mods.

I totally agree, I'm well pleased for daggart and his cerbera, she's been off the roads longer than most cerbs put together, and I'll be the first to congratulate him after Austec has finished tuning her to perfection. Respect where its due

A good idea > Pistonheads:Ace Cafe Meet????? so we can just get together and put all the agro behind us!
We're all in the same boat, we love our cerbies, and thats the bottom line!

Please DRIVE carefully on the roads, especially in this winters weather!!!!!

You guy’s are right.
Daggart, well done sir.
Not that I have been party to the wind up’s, digs, ect.I comend you and your tuners.
We are all Cerb owners and we need to unite.
Fighting amongst our selves is pointless, let’s use the energy that has been shown here and develop it to turning the Cerb into the monster it is.
John, you and I are doing this.
It is unfortunate that we as individuals have taken the results from the various tuners, and used them as ammunition for our respective cannons.
John, you understand why people have questioned the figures. Let’s get the car tested, then lets put it to bed and get on with the more important things in life.
Nick.

Okay well this being MY thread I would just like to point out this thread is for a group hug and not a pissing contest.

So I want cuddly words only, followed by some mutual stroking and possibly a tribal orgasm.

Talk of whos beating who on a track is a slippery slope which is only going to lead to talk of rolling roads and much angst. jools

I would far more prefer threads on fixing cars or making them as good as they can be and helping each other like it used to be, than an argument on figures and the resulting insults. We all have a lot more in common than than we do differences. Well at least until I buy my Marcos.
