What do you think of this Cerb on ebay at present? Is £15k a good deal considering the screen and carpet stains? Would appreciate some expert feedback.

I'm no expert but having been watching prices of early 4.2's and 4.5's for the last 6 months prior to getting mine, it does seem like a fair start price. Carpet and screen are no big deal. You only have to read the threads on here about how many people suffer difficult to trace leaks so it's not really a big deal.
At that price you could afford to have a reasonable contingency fund. Those Fox alloys are pretty nasty looking though. I think they are a Halfords special.

If it passes a thorough inspection from a TVR expert then you could pay £17.5K ish tops ie to cover adding proper wheels, proper suspension and fixing screen and carpet.
But those miles are far too low. Cerbs dont like to be driven so infrequently.
Bought over the web then it is a bg risk. Cerbs with blown engines are only worth 6 or 7 K tops.

Just a guess, but having bought and sold a few motors on ebay myself, if you end an auction before 24 hours of ending, you incur no fees. As he had no bids, he probably was expecting more than £15k and therefore didn't want to accept a last minute bid for the £15k mark. Only an educated guess mind!!!!
