How much?

Didn't think Speed Sixes were worth that much in Cerberas? This thing is nearly at what Eddie's sold for and it has a shot engine!! Looks tidy but £10K for a shot 6 pot?

I presume you mean the silver speed six with the knackered engine on ebay? bearing in mind that a rebuild on that is going to cost 5 to 6k min, then it should be coming up to about is max price, with all the messing about involved as well. worth keeping an eye on in the next few days, but as with all things, its not what its worth its what poeple are prepared to pay for it. Paid 18k for mine, had its rebuild before i got it, similar condition and spec. Tim.

"we are told the engine is useless"

Perhaps it isn't as knackered as they think

Think you'll find chassis is different on SP6 Cerb.

Is it really?...I would be susprised if TVR made 2 different chassis, espcially as when the chassis were being built in any quantity, they surely wouldnt have known at that stage whether a SP6 or and AJP was going into it...I would have believed that engine mounts etc were different, but would definately be quite gobsmacked if the chassis was that different.....

I smell 'bull':-
Item: 2000 TVR CERBERA SILVER (4587192723)
This message was sent while the listing was active.
steve31156 is the seller.

Dont know as we havent striped it just been totl it requires a rebuild. 3 people have now expressed an interest in the car that have said they want to put a Jag engine in but we dont know if it can be done. we have been quoted £5k for a compleat rebuild by TVR dealers not £10k and it may cost a few hundred but untill the engine is striped ?

Hmmm... if it were genuine and going for a reasonable price, it'd have aligned with my school of thought on these critters... buy a S6 Cerbie with a knackered engine, insert '05 spec S6, proper suspension, maybe a bit of tidying... hmmmmm...
